At Twin Power Yoga
we
teach Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga
which offers a different kind of yoga
practice. It's based on intuition rather
than tradition. This style of yoga is
becoming one of the fastest growing
forms of Yoga in the World by linking
breath with dynamic, flowing movement.
Baptiste Vinyasa Yoga offers more
than the familiar poses and breathing
techniques; it offers a way to face life
with a renewed personal strength. Build
your strength, serenity, flexibility,
and stamina today !

Yoga is like ice
cream, there are many different
varieties to choose from. Not all
ice-cream tastes the same as most of us
have a favorite flavor. If you haven’t
found the style of yoga that makes you
crave it week after week, chances are
you haven’t found the style that feeds
your soul. You may have heard of or even
tried yoga styles like: Bikram Yoga, Hot Yoga, Hatha Yoga,
Asthanga Yoga, Kundalini, Iyengar,
Kripalu, Core Power Yoga, etc.
At Twin Power Yoga we
offer a unique experience from any other
style of yoga. Classes taught in
Baptiste Vinyasa yoga tradition are
commonly referred to as a "meditation in
motion." This experience will transform
your body and uplift your soul. To spark
an outward transformation we must first
go inward!

Ann’s Story

“Like
attracts Like." I am a living example of
this universal law as it relates to
uncovering my passion. After my very
first Baptiste Power Vinyasa class a
spark of light ignited inside me as I
left the class feeling as though my soul
was fed. Like a magnetic force I was
immediately drawn to this style of yoga,
craving it week after week. I had
discovered something that my soul
desired. What I found was a ninety minute hiatus from
self judgment, a retreat from the
constant chatter of my mind and the
beginning practice of self-love and
acceptance through the experience of the
present moment. Beyond this powering of
my soul was the
physical high of shedding pounds of
stress through this form of "sweat and
serenity," which fine tuned every muscle
fiber in my body, building my strength and
flexibility.
"When the student is ready the teacher
will appear." In my case after only after
three months of yoga practice my then teacher
Diane suggested I consider teacher
training. The seed was planted which
soon grew into my own desire to teach.
Baptiste Teacher Training Level 1 in Hawaii
marked the beginning of my own personal
revolution. I was able to expose the
personal fears that were holding me back
from the limitless possibilities that
existed inside me. "Things I didn't even
know I didn't know" saturated my
consciousness, paving the way for a
spiritual journey that lead to my
Baptiste Teacher Training Level 2 in
Montana. This week long transformation
allowed me to trust my authentic self as
a teacher and brought awareness to the
blocks that stood in the way of the
light that already existed within me.
I love the mantra "Jump, and the net
will appear." This is exactly what I did
when teaming up with my twin sister Ali
in opening our vision Twin Power Yoga.
Together we sought to bring the
aesthetics of an oasis into a
transformational center that fuels both
the body and the soul. Hence our saying,
"Twin Power Yoga, power the body ~ power
the soul." Yoga for me is about
returning into harmony that which is out
of harmony. Whether that harmony is
defined as physically, emotionally or
spiritually. Most importantly, the gift
I received from practicing Yoga is in knowing that everything is perfect
just as it is; it always has been and
always will be. It is from my heart that
I wish to share these gifts with others,
and that's why I teach today.

Ali’s Story
Shortly
after stumbling into my first Power Vinyasa Yoga class, I uncovered
what today is my life's passion. Each
time I left a yoga practice I felt a mixture of
emotions. Sometimes it was a sense of
euphoria, sometimes excitement and at
times even discomfort. A powerful force
kept bringing me back because a shift of
consciousness was occurring inside me.
It was more than just a series of poses.
It was a practice in which I began to
step out of my flesh and into my soul.
Today I realize that everything happens
for a reason and there are no
coincidences in life. Therefore,
discovering a Baptiste style class
taught in an area in the country where
this yoga style had not yet infiltrated
was like finding a needle in a hay
stack. I realized that I had found a
gift, a precious jewel to aide me
through my spiritual revolution.
Simply put, through Baptiste Power Yoga
I was able to uncover the light that
already existed within me. I no longer
had a need to search "out there" to
appreciate the limitless possibilities
within. In yoga we define our edge as
doing something outside our
comfortability but within our
capability. It has also taught me to step
out of my comfort zone even off the mat, every chance I
get, because in doing so I am able to
transform.
I reached my edge off the mat when I
made a decision to pair up with my twin
sister Ann to open a studio, for the
purpose of sharing what we have learned
with others. That studio is called “Twin
Power Yoga”. Our motto is Power the Body
- Power the Soul. Through powering the
body we realize that our physical body
has needs. Also, we learn that we only have
control over our thoughts, feelings, and
actions. Through powering the soul, we
discover that our soul has no needs and
is already complete. The only desire of
the soul is to share through the
connection of other souls. By
recognizing both physical and spiritual
realities, we can gain insight in the
bigger picture of our life.
I am so grateful to have found my
passion which all began with taking a
risk and getting uncomfortable by trying
something new. I resonate with this
quote from one of my teacher's Eliyahu
Jian, "Greatness is not what you have
achieved but what you have overcome."
I desire Greatness for everyone in the
world.
